We are going to build a new house.

Kathy and I are taking on a big adventure next year.  We plan on knocking down our current home and building a new one.

I thought it would be interesting to blog on this throughout the year so that people interested in home improvement can follow along on a real project.  I plan to walk the readers through the entire project,  from the initial meetings with the architects to the first time we jump into the new pool.

The next post will include floor plans and a rendering for the new house as well as information on the Architects.
